ASSEMBLY SESSIONS

Our amazing interactive assembly sessions are designed to raise awareness in a fund and engaging way that is accessible to young people. Focused on years 7 -11, these sessions teach young people about that the reality of gangs and violence is not glamourous or how it is often portrayed in pop culture. It focuses on making young people understand grooming, criminality and long term impact on their lives. Delivered through the experiences of former gang members these sessions are a great way of protecting your students and equipping them with the tools to avoid gangs, stay safe and not find themselves at risk.

MENTORING

1 to 1 working with individuals. Taking place over a 12 week period.

Designed to intervene with young people actively involved with gangs, crime or caught carrying offensive weapons. Our mentoring has also been successful at interdicting young people dealing with Police & CPS. Helping to prevent young people escalating thereby avoid custodial sentences or jail.

Mentoring, is an intense focus on both skills building and social rehabilitation. Approached from a trauma informed perspective we successfuly nudge the young person towards positive social norms.

PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOPS

Designed to support professionals across a range of fields. They give staff an insight from a perspective of an ex member. Thereby highlighting how gaps in service provision, perverse incentives and unintended consequences get desinged into projects. Our experiential knowledge is often essential in ensuring highest standards of coproduction and critically engagement.

YOUTH /PARENT WORKSHOPS

Support intergenerational understanding. The primary beneficiaries of our work are young people. Our aim is to sustain our impact in the place young people are most exposed at home. Young people workshops focus on keeping young people safe. Our parent workshops focus on raising awareness and giving parents the essential knowledge, skills and tools to be able to identify and maintain the foundations we set. Importantly we know the urgent need, and lack of support specifically in lone female parent households.

 ACT RIGHT

D2R ACT RIGHT programme is about tackling violence against wormen and girls at the source. This tackles the issue of VAWG at the root source boys and men. these sessions can be delivered as both assembly or workshops. They are designed to ensure that boys learn how to comport themselves with girls and women. We focus on combatting the toxic misogyny that they are constantly bombarded by through social media, popular culture and influencers. By focusing on young boys we aim to arrest the issues early before they become entrenched and normal behaviours that they carry into adult life.

STAY SAFE

The stay safe programme is designed to empower women on what healthy relationships are and look like. Specifically we focus on ensuring that girls understand that specifically in relationships to gangs, that they are a commodity. Leaning on our experiences we are able to highlight the toxicity of the relationships and how they are designed to break girls down, ohysically and emotionally to serve the needs of a gang not those of a loving relationship. We cover the cycle of grooming and raise awareness around actions that make girls vulnerable and how these are exploited. Our aim is to equip young girls with knowledge to ensure that they stay safe.  â€‹
